I had such an amazing time at Cosmo’s Fun Fearless Life weekend in NYC. The event took place at the Lincoln Center, and was geared towards 20-somethings and how they can make the most of this time of their lives. Awesome stuff, but let’s be clear. No matter how young I look, you’re girl is not in her 20’s. Not that I’m complaining about still looking like a 20-year-old. I’m just saying.
Style tip: If you fall in love with a men’s or unisex graphic tee, and want it to have a fitted, feminine look, buy it a size smaller than what you wear in a fitted women’s size. Normally I wear a medium women’s tee, so the shirt pictured below is a men’s small. For an even more feminine look, grab a pair of scissors and cut the collar off to create an off-the-shoulder top. I love doing that!
Yet, I’m tapping into myself more now in my 30s than I ever did in my 20s. I guess that’s why I had to grab the Young, Gifted & Fresh graphic tee from Its Fresh Radio t-shirt line. For a comfy, casual and cute look, I paired it with a fitted denim jacket and joggers with a zippered ankle versus the more common banded ankle. Comfy oxfords add a slightly more mature look than sneakers would.
Should I explain yet again my obsession with graphic tees or nah? This one for me, it’s all about a mind frame. Being young, gifted & fresh is all about feeling free to live you dreams, be creative, think outside the box and live life on your own terms. You know, because being glam comes naturally. – XOXO, Jonna
