In late April of 2019, I joined WW. At the time, the WW Freestyle program was what I started with and lost my first 10 pounds. In September of 2019, I became a WW Ambassador. As a part of the ambassadorship, I was able to preview an upcoming change in the program – which is now known as mWW.

As a WW Ambassador I had the opportunity to be featured and share my story and thoughts on the new WW program, myWW. This picture is after we got done with the shoot and I was waiting to head back home. Such a great experience!
What Is myWW?
myWW is the newest version of the WW program. WW has always personalized their program based on your age, height, weight, sex. But with mWW, it is even more personalized and takes into consideration your food preferences, activity level, lifestyle, and approach to weight loss. Based on the questions you answer when you sign up, WW will recommend the one of the three programs they feel is best for you – Green, Purple, or Blue.

Why I Chose myWW Blue?
myWW Blue has a moderate SmartPoints Budget that you can spend on other foods you love. There are 200+ ZeroPoint foods including fruits, veggies, and lean proteins, so you can build your meals around those along with other foods that have SmartPoints values.
The Blue plan is similar to WW Freestyle, so I decided to stick with it. It worked for my food preferences and my activity level, and I was getting results. I was working for me, and I didn’t want to change anything.
I shared a bit about my experience trying out myWW Blue with WW. You can check it out in this video.
Since joining WW, I’ve lost 31 pounds to date. People following the WW program can expect to lose 1-2 pounds per week. I lost weight on a prior WW program (WW Freestyle) and am continuing on myWW. I have considered trying Green or Purple, but for now I’m sticking with what works for me, and that’s Blue.
The good thing is that, if you try one plan and don’t find results after several weeks, you can always switch and try another plan. No harm, no foul.
If you’re currently a WW member, which plan are you on and why? I’d love to hear about it!
