This blog post is a paid partnership with Zen of Slow Cooking. All opinions are my own – you know I keep it real here on Naturally Glam.
Ever since I got my Ninja Foodi multi cooker (air fryer, pressure cooker, slow cooker, and more) I’ve been in love. As a busy mom, being able to cook meals that normally take hours in minutes is right up my alley. I was excited to try the Zen of Slow Cooking seasoning blends because they are now partnered with WW and available on the WW Shop. These seasoning packets are made specifically for preparing slow cooker and pressure cooker meals.
Here are my top three WW-friendly recipes that I tried using the Zen of Slow Cooking packets and loved! I’ve linked to each recipe on the Zen of Slow Cooking website so that you can check out the recipe and included the SmartPoints value based on the WW Blue program at the time of this post.
Balsamic Sausage & Peppers
One of my favorite Italian dishes is sausage and peppers. You can serve it so many different ways – atop pasta and rice or inside of a bun for a sandwich. For this dish, I used the Tuscan Zen of Slow Cooking seasoning pack. I used Lidl Italian chicken sausage, and served it over a bed of lentil spaghetti noodles. Just for the sausage and peppers, you’ll use 1 SmartPoint for each sausage.
Chicken Tortilla Soup
Looking for a flavorful soup that simple and quick to make? This Chicken Tortilla Soup using the Zen of Slow Cooking Southwest Fiesta blend is it! It’s just 1 SmartPoint per serving, so go ahead and count an extra point now because you can’t have just one serving at a time. It’s a great combination of fresh and canned ingredients, which make it better than your average canned soup. I made a batch and froze individual servings for later, which was clutch in the meal prep department.
I know tortilla is in the name, but the tortillas and other toppings are optional. Have fun with it!
Sticky Chicken Tacos
My husband has declared Tacos Tuesdays as a real event in our household. I try to switch up the taco styles each week so it doesn’t get mundane, and this Sticky Chicken Tacos recipe was a huge hit. I used the Zen of Slow Cooking Smoky BBQ blend, and swapped out the pork on the recipe suggested on the back of the pack with chicken instead. I used boneless skinless chicken breast, which made this recipe 1 SmartPoint per serving. If you use chicken thighs, it will be 5 points per serving.
To cook the chicken, I just followed the Foodi’s cooking instructions for chicken breasts and it turned out great. Here’s a kitchen hack: use your handheld mixer to shred the chicken instead of doing it by hand to save time and energy. I’ve used this Smoky BBQ blend to make BBQ chicken sandwiches as well, and this taco recipe is really a variation of that. I topped the tacos with coleslaw mix and sugar-free barbecue sauce for the win.
Have you tried Zen of Slow Cooking seasoning blends? Which ones would you try for yourself?
Fantastic!!!
Thanks Meg!
I would try the tortilla soup. I would even try it with a meat subsistute for myself.

This soup would be delicious without the meat for sure. Even adding a variety of beans would be yummy!
First of all, that Ninja multi cooker sounds amazing, and it’s affordable.
Second of all, I would cook the sausage and peppers. I keep sausage stocked in my freezer and would probably use spaghetti or sutternut Squash noodles instead of regular spaghetti.
Yes, Kim! I’m thinking zoodles would be good with this!
Ok the chicken tortilla soup, but vegan style! That looked really good!
You definitely don’t need the chicken in this recipe! It’s so flavorful
All great recipes Jonna but the Balsamic Sausages and Peppers sounds so good. We make that at home but have never tried it with balsamic. Thanks for sharing!.. @applemacg
The balsamic does add a different flavor to the traditional sausage and peppers!
