As the warmer weather of Summer approaches, this means a change in our hair care routine. Why? Because with the warmer weather and increased sun exposure that comes with Summer, often times dryness and damage can follow. Also, think about the activities that most of us participate in with our families and friends during the Summer. If you’re looking for an easy hairstyle for Summer, then you have to try this Halo Twist style.
What’s cool about the halo twist hairstyle is that it is perfect for all hair types and textures. Whether your hair is straight, wavy, curly, or kinky, this is a style you can create. It also will last as long as you want it to last, and is perfect for any occasion. But before you look at hairstyles for summer, you have to look at your hair care routine as well. Increasing hydration during the Summer is essential, and the new Garnier Whole Blends Hydrating Hair Care products are just what you need.
Easily found at Walmart, and very reasonably priced, the Whole Blends Hydrating Hair Care shampoo, conditioner, and hair mask feature the essence coconut water and vanilla milk. These carefully-selected ingredients are made to nourish deeply, hydrate, and repair hair, which is exactly what your hair needs as Summer approaches.
These products are made to hydrate the thirstiest of hair, and quench and soften de-hydrated hair. The scent is very tropical, and pleasant, and reminds me of a pina colada for my hair. These products fit right into my weekly regimen of cleansing, conditioning, and styling.
Let’s get into this Halo Twist hairstyle tutorial.
Part the hair into two sections from ear to ear.
Start with two sections of hair at one ear, and begin a large flat twist in the direction of the other ear.
Continue the flat twist around the head until you get back to the ear that you started with, and just twist the hair to the end.
Tuck the end of the flat twist into the already twisted hair so it can’t be seen, and pin in place.
You can check out the entire Whole Blends line, here. There are so many varieties to choose from – repairing, hydrating, smoothing, refreshing, nourishing, and color care. Which blend do you want to try? We’d love to hear about it.
