Since Deanna of Naturally Creole lives in my same area, we have become blogger buddies, and just plain old friends.  We attend a lot of events together, and it dawned on me one day that we should do a collab video of some sort.  She came up with the idea of doing a Get Ready With Me style video for a date night – and that meant we actually had to take our husbands out on a date.  Which is great because they won’t complain that we are going to yet another event leaving them at home, we can still have a good time, and they can take pictures for us.  SCORE!

We had a really great time out on the double date.  Deanna and Howard chose the hibachi spot, and the food and drinks were really good.  After dinner, we went to Bar Louie for more drinks and convo, and then back to Deanna’s house to hang out some more.  Good times, good people, and good convo is always a great way to spend an evening.  So I hope you enjoy watching our videos – we used Alikay products on our hair to create out hairstyles.  Giveaway ends 12/15/13 at midnight!
