Current Beauty Favs | June 2016

Hola! I’m back a second month in a row with my current beauty favs. If you’ve been following me over on Snapchat (feel free do so now), then you saw that I’ve been trying to organize my home. I took a whole day and went through all my beauty and skin care products, and got it all organized. Wouldn’t you know I found some things I didn’t even remember having, and some of them are in my favorites for the month.

Proganix Quench Coconut H2O + Electrolytes Shampoo. This is one of the best detangling shampoos I’ve ever used. Ever. Detangling my type 4, kinky curly textured hair is a breeze with this shampoo. Yes, shampoo! I use so much less conditioner now because I’m able to completely detangle my hair with this Proganix shampoo.

Avène Thermal Spring Water Spray. Just in time for the warm weather, this mist delivers a quick burst of cool moisture for your skin. This will stay in my beach bag or pool bag, or my gym bag – because I really don’t sweat. It’s a blessing and a curse. But this spray will be my little friend this summer.

PUR Cosmetics Hydrafluid Water Serum Foundation. When I first received this foundation to try, I knew it was a keeper. But I kinda put it to the side for a while trying other things. Earlier in the month, I needed to pack some foundation in a small makeup bag, and this tube was the only thing that would fit. Now, I’m hooked and I’ve been using it ever since. It’s lightweight and buildable, so it’s perfect whether you need a little coverage or a lot.

PUR Cosmetics Eye Polish Pure Pigment Eye Primer + Top Coat. These eyeshadow primer pots are super pigmented, and highly shimmered. It’s like shimmer eyeshadow on 10. The metallic sheen eye primers come in several different metallic shades, and play well with your eye shadows to take your eye look to the next level.

Borghese Eclissare Colorstruck Lipstick. Another one that I tried previously when it was sent to me to try, and it got lost in the shuffle. I pulled this one back out of the crates for a couple of my online live streams because the color is great for my skin tone, and the formula is creamy and non-drying. Definitely a favorite because it pretty much goes with any eye look.
