I’m no makeup artist, so I never apply false lashes on my own even though I love the look. I know many of you are probably the same way, and you’re looking for a mascara that can give you the look of falsies without the struggle of applying them. In this post, I’ll be sharing a couple of berry toned Fall makeup looks I created using the NEW Maybelline Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara. These looks feature berry tones and transition from day time to night time.
Maybelline is one of my favorite beauty brands. I even did a post once about the 5 Maybelline products that stay in my makeup bag, and it’s a brand I know you all are familiar with. It’s so convenient that you can pick these products up right from your local Walmart store – no fancy makeup stores or pushy sales people. Maybelline Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara is the world’s first ever patented push-up brush with cup-shaped bristles that scoop, coat, and lift lashes. It’s the first mascara to deliver dramatic volume of a 45 degree lift. With creamy plumping formula, the mascara glides smoothly onto lashes for a dramatic, instant charge. I prefer this much more than trying to apply false lashes on my own.
I picked up the Maybelline Brow Define + Fill Duo in Deep Brown for these looks as well. Because no makeup look is complete without a snatched brow. Brows really share your face, and are one of those things that make you look totally made up even with no foundation or eye shadow.
In this first look, I kept the eye simple by using the Maybelline 24 hour color tattoo in Tough as Taupe. I’m just using one shade for this day time look to save time and keep it simple. You don’t even need a brush to apply this – just use your finger! [pullquote width=”300″ float=”left”]Beaty Hack: When using one eyeshadow shade, concentrate the eyeshadow on the lid, and blend into the crease for a gradually lighter look.[/pullquote]Perfect for applying makeup on the go or when traveling. Since the eye look is simple, I’m going with a matte berry shade of lipstick, Maybelline’s Touch of Spice. I just applied one coat of Maybelline Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara for this look, which surprisingly was really all that I needed for a falsies look.
Now to kick it up a notch for a night out. I didn’t remove anything – I just layered right on top of the day time makeup. How easy is that! I used the Maybelline Sandstone Shimmer eyeshadow palette. I love these palettes that tell you exactly where to place each color. Of course, you can be adventurous and put the colors wherever you want, but for this look I followed the guidelines on the palette. [pullquote width=”300″ float=”left”]Beauty Hack: Whenever you are applying multiple colors, blend, blend, blend.[/pullquote] I used a fluffy blending brush to blend the colors after applying for a more seamless look. Since the eye look is more dramatic, I applied this nude lipstick, Maybelline’s Daringly Nude. For this look, I applied a couple more coats of the Maybelline Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara to take it over the top without trying to apply a set of flash lashes. Tossed on this cute green wool hat I picked up at the thrift store – perfect for a night out on the town.
Do you love the look of false lashes but hate the time and mess they require?
of all the life skills I have, applying make-up has always perplexed me. working in a kitchen has made this easy-no one is going to paint their face to sweat it all off in the kitchen! thanks to your post, I may actually have a clue now!!!
The looks came out really nice! I’m able to apply falsies with almost no problem now so I don’t mind them but I’ll have to try this mascara for days I don’t have the time to sit with a steady hand 🙂 great post!!
Like the looks, both are perfect for you!
Love this look, so beautiful! #client
Thanks Kristy!
I have less than stellar lashes. But you will not catch me adding any. I love a good mascara.
Loving these fall make up looks, very pretty! I also love your hair and hat in the last look!
False eyelashes are so hard to apply. I picked this up too and will be trying this product to see how well it works for me.
Love the tip for the single eyeshadow. I be swearing I’m not gonna smoke out my look but my brushes have a mind of their own apparently lol. I only pop on lashes when I’m trying to be turnt up. I actually bought this mascara a few weeks back and have been loving it but I’m mad I picked up the waterproof version, it is no joke taking it off but I still rock it because it’s really good.
I don’t know if I can ever do the fake eyelashes but I am curious as to how they look would look on me.
I cannot apply a falsie to save my life! Your makeup looks came out really pretty. I may have to try that brow duo out!
I’ve been dying to try that falsies mascara! Lashes are one of my favorite play areas and I have more mascara that you can shake a stick at. Getting it soon!
I’m definitely looking forward to bold fall colors and pretty plums!
Love the look! I love makeup that looks natural. ♡
I am not great with makeup but this looks so natural. And your lashes look great!
