Royal Chic + Chains

During a recent thrifting trip with my cousin, I found this adorable skirt (with pockets – SCORE) for only $1.99 that had to have. I love the red pattern and gold chains detail. I envisioned styling it with a graphic tee, because I’m addicted to graphic tees and think they go with everything. So while in NY bouncing around, I stopped in Forever 21 to see if they might have a graphic tee that I could pair with this skirt. Searching high and low, I came to this tee – the only one in the store and a size too large, but I didn’t care. Royal Chic sold me.

Style tip: If you are short/petite, try to find maxi style or A-line skirts that come to the ankle or longer. Otherwise they can tend to make you look rather stumpy. You can style it with booties, heels or flats.
