I was so inspired by all the entries into the Love Your Hair giveaway that was sponsored by Miss Good Hair. Those who entered had to share why they loved their natural hair. The winner has been selected and the giveaway is over but I wanted to share all the entries. Just in case someone needs some encouragement to learn and love their hair. Enjoy!
CoCo – In 1 Corinthians, the bible states that abundant hair is a woman’s glory. I hold my head higher; I take pride in the health of my hair; and I know that every kink, coil, and curl on my head is beautiful.

Meschel – I’ve been natural for 3 years, big chopped 3 times, and colored 2 times and before I BC’ed the last time I still had sooo much to learn about my own hair and not hoping that my texture changed so that it would be more manageable. Now after my 3rd BC I love my 4b/4c hair texture after seeing the beauty in it on other 4c naturalists it gave me courage to embrace and love my own tresses!!! & now I’m loving the journey of it growing back out from my tapered cut!
Sandy – I love my hair it loves me so much and I look so beautiful with my natural hair. I used to put a lot of chemicals and junk in my hair so I can have beautiful straight hair. But all the chemicals did was fry and damage my hair and I have thin edges. I woke and finally realize I was already with my natural hair.
Audrey – I love how strong it is. It can take a lickin and keep on tickin.
Jinovia – I love my hair because it grows faster natural, dies not really shed anymore, get to try new styles. brings out my inner beauty!

Yolanda – I never knew what being free meant until January 2013, the day I big chopped. My hair has brought a level of confidence I never knew existed. Because as long as I can remember I let a man dictate how my hair should be, long, relaxed, and straight. So doing the big-chop was my first step to working on me. The versatility of being natural is the best part of my experience. So my natural hair has made me fall in love with myself all over again. I’m free to be the natural me I was always suppose to be.
Pamela – My hair is full of life
Levi97 – I Love my Natural hair, because it’s unique and different. My hair doesn’t define who i am, but makes a bold statement now.

Lakeda – I love my hair because it’s unique!! No one curly head person is made the same, and I love the diversity!! I may experience my share of bad hair days, but if I play it cool it can turn out to be a positive experience!!
Kirtina – It’s so versitile and allows me to express myself without having to say a word!
Melody – I love the versatility of having natural hair. I’ve had relaxed hair for over 38 years and I love that I’m still learning about my “real” hair.
