What I Say
While it took a few minutes, and getting powder all over my bathroom sink, to figure out exactly how to work the dispenser, once I got that down pat I was good to go. The mineral powder was nice and fine, and easy to apply. My only complaint is that the colors are very limited and as a woman of color I found that a huge problem. I ordered the darkest color available, which said it was for medium toned skin, it was still too light for my skin. So I used it to set my highlighting concealer which is a little lighter than my completion. It worked really well, and prevented any creasing and maintained a flawless look. However, at a retail price of $65, I would not get the value from it just using it to set concealer. If this product was available in my skin tone, then it would be worth that cost as my face foundation powder. Hopefully, La Bella Donna will expand to include all skin tones.
