One of the most frustrating things for naturalistas is trying to perfect the wash n go. I know because I was once you. I felt like because my hair was so tightly coiled and kinky, that wash-n-go styles were just not for me. But what I learned is that it wasn’t my hair that was the problem.

It was my tools, my products, and my technique that needed work. So I started the Defining My Curls series on my YouTube channel once I got my tools and technique down. The goal of the series is to try various products to see how the results turn out. One of the products I used in the series was Wondercurl. I used the Get Set Hair Jelly and fell in love.

The folks over at WonderCurl are #TeamNOFrizz and are HUGE fans of the wash-n-go. If you aren’t already a fan, then you need to get on board and feel the love! And because of that love, they want to make sure all curlies get to experience the amazingness that doing a wash-n-go style can bring. Join me this month for the #WCWashnGoChallenge as I team up with WonderCurl, to learn the techniques and best products for your hair. To make this challenge even more fun, we are hosting a giveaway of full size products!

I had the opportunity to go on live via WonderCurl’s Persicope to do a live, real time wash-n-go demonstration using my favorite WonderCurl products. Definitely check it out to see how I achieved these popping coils! Here, I used the Get Slick Hair Smoothie and Curl Control Styling Lotion. Watch it here.
