Though I can’t sit down on buying jewelry, I can sit down and get it organized. Having items organized not only make things easy to find, but also makes you more aware of the items you have so you can avoid purchasing duplicates or very similar items.

I wish I would’ve taken a before picture but I wasn’t thinking. Just imagine all my jewelry in various Forever21 bags, pilled up on the floor and on my jewelry armoire. A Hot Mess I say!

Now here is all my jewelry neatly organized. I love that everything is easily visible and accessible. No digging thru tons of other pieces to find something. No forgetting that I have a pair of earring in a certain style or color. I really look forward to wearing more of my pieces, now that I can find them.

Shout-out to my cousin Ronda who put me on to using the pegboard to hang earrings on. I just purchased it along with the hanger accessories for my necklaces in addition from Home Depot (lumber section – took me 10 minutes to figure that out). Grand total = $12! The other rack was actually a piece of a portable wardrobe that we used to have but it fell apart. Somehow this piece was left behind, and it called out my name and told me to use it to hang earrings on. SCORE!!!

The armoire was purchased from JC Penneys some time ago. I thought it was nice because it was more modern than most I’d seen up to that point.  The top lid flips up and has a mirror on it, which is perfect.

I know I did a good job with this because the Hubster gave me a High-Five. Not only because he was rather impressed me my use of the pegboard and rack to hang my jewelry, but also because I have everything neatly tucked away in this small corner of our room – which is on my side of the bed.  Before it was all over the place on his side.  SCORE!
