Moisture is the talk of the town in the natural hair community. Many women find it difficult to combat dryness, and are searching for a way to keep their tresses moisturized and healthy. I personally discovered that when I layered products from the same product line, I achieved better results and long-lasting moisture. Later on, I found that this technique had been given a name – the LOC Method.

LOC stands for Liquid, Oil, Cream in reference to the order in which to apply products for styling to help retain moisture. Liquids could be simply water or aloe vera juice, or a water-based leave in conditioner. Oil could be your favorite oil or a oil-based moisturizer. Cream would be creamy styling products like your favorite soufflé or pudding type product.

In this video, I talk about how I use the LOC Method, and the product lines that I like to use. Some of these brands are well known, while others are up and coming brands. Do you use the L.O.C. Method? What are your favorite products to use?
