I’m focused on maintaining a healthy lifestyle because I know that feeling good on the inside definitely is reflected on the outside. I’m currently on a weight loss journey, but ultimately my goal is to be my healthiest. One of my struggles that I’m sure I’m not alone in, is what to eat while you’re at work. Normally I bring my breakfast, lunch and snacks with me so I know what exactly what’s in what I’m eating. But what about that random day when you’re rushing to get out of the door and forget your meals at home? Here’s how to eat healthy at work when you forget your lunch at home, which everyone has done, and still not sabotoge your healthy eating habits.

Know Your Options: If you have on-site cafeteria, get familiar with the healthy options they may have. Some workplace cafeterias have a salad bar, or even indicate nutritional facts on their daily menu so you know how many calories, fat, protein and carbs each serving contains. This will help you make wiser selections. Get familiar with surrounding restaurants if you have to venture out on a short break for food. Most places give you the nutritional facts for their menu either online or on site; some even allow you to calculate it
