While making my Sunday afternoon trip to Target, I found this gorgeous crochet yellow blouse on clearance for just $11.48 (original price: $22.99). Summer is approaching, but here in Hampton Roads VA, the weather is still not sure what season it is. Some days it is in the 50s while other days push into the 80s. For this type of weather, it can be difficult finding pieces that fit the season we’re supposedly in.
This shirt is lightweight but long-sleeved, so it’s great for this weather, and the color is great for transitioning from Spring to Summer. The colors in the necklace reminded me of this oldie but goodie pair of Carlos Santana shoes I’ve had for years, and a navy blue clutch I found at a local thrift store. I paired it with the Shine necklace from Noonday Collection. Noonday partners with an artisan business in Ecuador to create colorful jewelry made with natural materials. Yellow is one of my favorite colors, I love its boldness. It looks great on you and that hair, that hair is slaying all over the place. I only have a few yellow pieces but I totally need more. I love those shoes too.
This is the only yellow piece I have, but it will most definitely be a color I reach for more often. And these shoes are probably 15 years old at least!
