FTC: I was sent these product to review at no cost to me. I am not being paid for this review.

I was contacted recently by Tiffany Simon, owner of bNude Essentials, as she was interested in providing samples for VIP bags for the INHMD event back in May. Unfortunately, it was too late for her items to ship in time for the event. But she was kind enough to still send a couple of her products to try, and get some honest feedback on. I love that she is passionate about providing a product that folks will love and truly wanted to know the good, the bad and the ugly so she can improve upon her product. I received the body scrub and body butter, along with a handwritten note from Tiffany. These are the things I love about small businesses – the personal touch!

What They Say
bNude Essentials provides 100% organic products that not only gives back to your body but also to the community. Our spa bath products include raw sugar and sea salt scrubs and Shea butter body butters in various scents. We maker our products with natural ingredients like grape-seed oil, Vitamin E, almond oil, Shea butter, mango butter and coconut oil.

What I Say
First things first. The body butter smells AMAZING!!!!! It smells just like buttercream icing. We could stop the review right there as far as I’m concerned, but I will continue :). The butter is whipped so it actually has the consistency of cake icing too, and it was easy to absorb into the skin, unlike some butters where the Shea or Mango butter is grainy or small bits are not blended well. The scrub didn’t have a distinct smell, just a light sweet scent which was perfect because it would play well with any other scented products. The grains were large enough so that they didn’t dissolve as I rubbed it on my wet skin. After I used the scrub, my skin was so soft and I honestly could have not put on the butter because the scrub had enough oil to seal in the moisture in my skin.

Overall, I loved both products. I’m not a huge scrubber, but I would definitely purchase the body butter because of the consistency and smell. If you’re interested in trying bNude Essentials, feel free to email Tiffany at bnudeessentials@gmail.com or visit her website at www.bnudeessentials.com!
